When a first Responder is killed in the line of duty there are a few organizations that provide immediate funds for the funeral of the fallen responder. But it takes 1-3 years for the State and Federal LODD money to get to the family. Leaving a long time in most cases to financially support the family during their dificult time. We Bridge that void.

WHO WE ARE
We are a collective group of professionals, community leaders and advocates who recognize the "standard" LODD benefits of the State and Federal government are often delayed and therefore are insufficient to meet these families needs in a timely method.
WHAT WE DO
We build a bridge between some long standing groups who give an essential and immediate gift that was designed to pay for the funeral.
WHY WE DO IT
Honor and stability for the family who has now given up so much for us. Hoping that by alleviating some financial difficulty we allow them to maintain as much normalcy as possible during this time frame. Thanking them for thier loved ones legacy of protection.

10K Club President & Founders
Jimmy Sewell was a chaplain for first responders and together he and Cassie have volunteered to be of service their entire married lives together. After Jimmy served in the body recovery efforts of 9/11 at the World Trade Center towers he learned first hand how devastating it can be on a family while waiting for a insurance death claim and other funding to be paid. Together they have founded the 10k club to help families with money and services to curb the additional pain after loosing a loved one. "We invite you to join us in this mission to help our fellow mankind."

Eligibility requires that you be employed or an active member of this department or organization at the time of death. Fundraising is for members' families after a LODD as prescribed by the 501(c)(3) organization. As a member or sponsor, you may be contacted by First Responders First affiliates regarding additional opportunities for first responders and supporters.
